Dr. Amer Avdagic received his Undergraduate degree from The University of Vermont and attended The University of New England, College of Dental Medicine where he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. After completing a series of rigorous “mini-residencies” in New Hampshire and Boston during his fourth year of dental school, Dr. Avdagic decided to move to Massachusetts where he has been practicing in private practice dentistry since graduating in the summer of 2019.
He holds memberships in several accredited institutions that value the importance and role of dentistry in overall health. These include The American Dental Association (ADA), the Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), North Shore District Dental Society (NSDS) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Dr. Avdagic has also earned three fellowships through his advanced training in dental implant placement and restoration. These Fellowships include the International Congress of Implantologists (ICOI), the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (AAIPD), and the Live Implant Training Institute (LIT).
Dr. Avdagic has a strong passion for maintaining the use of cutting-edge equipment and technology in his office. This allows him to not only work more efficiently, but it allows him to provide superior dental work while decreasing the stress of his patients. He continuously participates in continuing education courses in order to hone in on his individual skills, but also to offer his patients the latest and greatest in dental treatment.
In his off time, Dr. Avdagic enjoys spending time with his wife, new born baby girl and dog. They enjoy skiing and spending time in the mountains in the winter, and relaxing by the pool in the summer. As a Vermont native, Dr. Avdagic makes sure he gets back to Vermont during peak foliage season in the fall.
Dr. Avdagic is excited and passionate to have the privilege and opportunity to provide dental care to patients in the North Shore of Massachusetts, South East New Hampshire and of course the patients who choose to make long drives from other areas such as Central Maine and Cape Cod.
